Two Hansa Brandenburg W.33 and a Sopwith Baby were sent to Spitsbergen to
search for the airship "Italia" and the following search for Roald Amundsen
and his crew in 1928. We hve not been able to confirm how these aircraft
were painted and marked. If anyone can help, we will be happy to get in
touch with them.

Hansa Brandenburg W.33 F.56 var den ene av to maskiner som i 1922 fløy fra Horten til Kirkenes og tilbake igjen.
Hansa Brandenburg W.33 F.58, slik den så ut i 1922. Underveis til Kirkenes stoppet F.56 og F.58 i Tromsø for motor reparasjon.
Hansa Brandenburg W.33 F.58. Etter turen til Kirkenes fikk flyet navnet "Polarstjernen" og ble påmalt en stjerne.
